If you joined us last year for the first ever ‘This Time Tomorrow’ benefit concert, you know you’re in for a good time at this year’s event. Cory’s foundation, This Time Tomorrow, is hosting its second annual benefit concert on Saturday, April 9, 2011—and there’s still time to buy your ticket! Get ready for an amazing night of song, spirit and inspiration in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Cory and the foundation’s co-founder Tony Goff will be raising money for LLS, while guests enjoy music, food, auctions and more.
The “dress to impress” event, to be held at the Milwaukee Art Museum, will feature a private concert with the music of Billy Joel performed by “52nd Street,” and an acoustic performance by Joe Wray. It also will include a special performance of the song, “This Time Tomorrow,” which was written to raise money for LLS.
There also will be live and silent auctions at the event, with proceeds benefiting LLS. Many incredible prizes are available, including a luxury cruise on Lake Michigan and a round of golf with Hollywood actor C. Thomas Howell, of TNT’s ‘Southland’ and who will be appearing in the next Spiderman movie in summer 2012. There also will be a grand red carpet entrance, gourmet tapas from one of Milwaukee’s top chefs, wine and cheese tasting by Wine Maniacs, gift bags and more.
The doors open at 7 pm and tickets are on sale now for $100 per person. They can be purchased online or at the door, and special group packages are available with discounted rates. More details on the benefit concert.
